A transformational gift from alumnus Chuck Auster, A73, the Chairman of the Board of Advisors at the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts (DEC), will create the Auster Center for Applied Innovation Research (AIR).

Dr. Francesco Svelto, Rector of the University of Pavia in Italy, encouraged graduating engineering students at Tufts to seek out new frontiers.
