Mark Hempstead received a B.S. in computer engineering from Tufts University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in engineering from Harvard University, working with Professors David Brooks and Gu-Yeon Wei. Before joining Tufts School of Engineering, Hempstead was an assistant professor at Drexel University. In 2014, he received an NSF CAREER award and the Drexel College of Engineering Excellence in Research Award.
